At Eye Care Associates of Greater Cincinnati, we strive to make LASIK affordable for everybody.  In addition to accepting all major credit cards, we offer payment plans so LASIK fits within your budget.  Please contact us to talk with the LASIK Coordinator in your local office.

What are my options in paying for LASIK?
We gladly accept the following forms of payment:

Credit Cards    Other    Payment Plans
Visa    Cash    12 Months "Same as Cash" (Care Credit
MasterCard

Personal Check

   Vision Fee Plan
Discover    Money Order
American Express    Cashier's Check

How do I apply for "12 Months Same as Cash" or other payment plans?
Eye Care Associates of Greater Cincinnati works with two outside finance companies (Care Credit and Vision Fee Plan) to provide as many options as possible.  The LASIK coordinator in your specific office can help with the application process.  You may also apply online by clicking on either of the icons below.

What about insurance or flexible spending accounts?
LASIK is not typically included as a benefit of most insurance plans.  Fortunately, however, you may pay for LASIK through a flexible spending account if offered by your employer.  Flexible spending accounts or "FSA's" enable employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for future medical expenses.  Ask your employer's human resources department or employee benefits coordinator if such a plan is available to you.

What does LASIK cost and what is included?
We offer the LASIK procedure at $2,995 for both eyes, or at $1,598 per single-eye procedure.  Prices include all necessary eye measurements and examinations before your procedure and all necessary examinations for one year after your procedure.

Sometimes patients (typically those with stronger corrective prescriptions) require a minor follow-up treatment after LASIK known as an "enhancement."  Those patients who are medically eligible may receive any necessary enhancements at no charge for one year after their procedure.  Please ask about our Continuing Care Policy for more details.  Enhancements performed one year or longer after the original LASIK procedure are $300 per eye.

Certain patients may qualify for and elect the CustomVue LASIK procedure.  Because of the additional time and technology involved in this process, the cost of CustomVue LASIK is $3,695 for both eyes, or $1,948 per single-eye procedure.

When do I pay for the procedure?
Payment for LASIK is due before your procedure.  If you elect a payment plan, please note that these are subject to credit qualification and that all of your financing arrangements must be in place prior to the day of your procedure.  It is also important to understand the specific repayment requirements of the various plans.  Your LASIK Coordinator will be happy to review the options with you.  For those who choose to pay by check, please bring your valid driver's license with you.

Note:  Prices, financing options and promotions are subject to change without notice.
