I wanted you to know that you have done me a terrific service. I have had to wear glasses since fourth grade and as time has progressed, my eyesight became extremely bad. So bad that I could have been declared virtually blind and I had extremely bad astigmatisms in both eyes. I was desperate to be free of my glasses and regain my sight. At one time, I tried to see if I was a candidate for laser surgery but wasn't because my corneas were too thin. On the suggestion of my mother, who is also a patient, I made an appointment to see you.

I was very happy to find out that I was a candidate for lens replacement surgery using the new 'ReZoom' lens. Both of my surgeries were done in November of 2005 and I haven't had to wear my glasses since then. My vision went from near blindness, to 20/20 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right eye. I now only wear reading glasses. What a difference this has made in my life. This new lens has given me my sight back and freedom to see. I can't express how much it means to me and my family.

I think it's also important to note that you and your staff were great. I felt very comfortable can taken care of during the entire process. I appreciate everything you and your staff did for me during this time.

I had my operation on 3/7/06. Dr. Bergmann and staff did an excellent job informing me before, during and after. My new ReZoom lens is doing just fine. I wished I'd had my bionic eye in sooner.

In Feb. and March of 2006, I had Dr. Bergmann replace the lens in both my eyes with ReZoom lens. The surgery was done easily without any complications. The results are fantastic. Colors are much brighter, and I can read the newspapers and telephone book without glasses, and my night vision is sharp. I would recommend the ReZoom lens to anyone who needs cataract surgery. Dr. Bergmann and his staff are wonderful, and I recommend them highly.

My name is Mike Robison and I am a patient of Dr. Mark Bergmann. We have been monitoring the development of cataracts in both of my eyes for the last 2 years. On my last checkup, my vision had decreased to where I made driving and other daily activities difficult to accomplish. We decided it was time for cataract surgery. I was skeptical at first, but Dr. Bergmann and his staff were very comforting in describing the procedure and putting me at east. I then had to decide which lens option was the best for my situation. Insurance would not cover some of the cost of the better lens options, but I decided that I have paid much more for physical items that ware out over time and my eyes must last a lifetime. We decided the ReZoom lens was the best available for my situation. Prior to surgery my distant vision had decreased to 20-200 in both eyes. Dr. Bergmann performed the cataracts surgery on first my right eye and then the left eye. On my last checkup the distant vision in my right eye was 20-15 and the left eye 20-20. I could not be more thrilled with the results. I now have my vision back.
